Kuala Lumpur Climbing Association At A Glance

History

The Kuala Lumpur Climbing Association is one of the oldest climbing associations in Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur and is also an association established by the late Nur Ramlee Sulaiman who was also the former head of the Mount Everest Climbing Expedition in 1997.

It was established before the East Malaysia Zone IPT sector Young Friends carnival. The participants and sponsors of the establishment of the Climbing association also became the first participants in Wall Sport Climbing and were recognized as a Grade 3 Motivator by the Malaysian Climbing Federation according to the UIAA (Union International Alpine Association) syllabus.
